It’s pretty obvious that when there interaction between human and environment, it could either go wrong or right. In a world of greed, selfishness and gluttony. One man shines out in the deep blue. He is a well educated man, gentle and very caring. 

Robert LO known to most as the owner of SMART Resort in Mabul, Malaysia. He had an idea 10 years ago to build an artificial reef. A place where marine inhabitant could call home. A safe haven and nursery ground for most inhabitant

In this AR ( Artificial reef ), you’ll find some of the most interesting critters running around. Mabul’s known for it’s macro photography opportunity by many UW photographers. However, unlike me who’s lost touch with the macro world and fallen in love with wide angle photography. The challenge ahead was phenomenal.

It wasn’t the best week for Mabul, visibility was limited, water was green and occasional currents passing thru, i had a task handed to me. It was to story tell the life on the artificial reef. With the abundance of jack fish, yellow tail snappers and schools of anchovies gliding pass you. The objective was to incorporate the structure of the artificial reef with the marine inhabitant. So after few dives, here’s my photo set for your kind critic.
