It’s been a tiring week of selection, color sampling, identifying layout, curating, thinking of presentation and packaging the images of P U R E.  Without my ever hardworking Ms Proud which has done absolutely great with layouts and curating my work and not forgetting Ms Cassandra for her marketing capabilities. It would have not been possible for me to do it.

Our 1st International gallery outside of Singapore was held in Jakarta Convention Center 2011. It was a Dive Expo called “Deep Indonesia” It was roughly 45mins from the airport and situated in the hustle and bustle of town. Most accessible hotel was the “Sultan”. It was a mere 5mins to the convention center.There’s where i call “HOME”.

It was early Thursday morning when i arrived at the gallery. The gallery was set up by Ms Proud and Cassandra. Staring from across the booth, it was unbelieveable. I found it hard to step into my own gallery. I stood out of it and stared at its lineup. The blue ring octopus, harlequin, cuttlefish, lion fish, squids etc.  It was classic and smashing. The ladies really knew what they wanted and brought out the best in me.

I watched viewer walk into my gallery and enjoyed the view. Some even came to shake my hands. I had guys from facebook whom i’ve never met congrutualating me, some came and told me, that they’re inspired by my work. It’s really inspiring to know that i’ve touch people with my pictures.

I never knew that i’ve got such a following or fans. I really wanna thank them for making me understand how valuable my work is and to continue to do better. To showcase the world thru my work. To represent its beauty and colors. The world through my viewfinder.

I hope i’ll get to showcase more of my work in other parts of the world. My next step is to promote conservation and photography to save the ocean. Till the next exhibition in KL… I see you soon, my friends..
